Privacy policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information. Last updated October 19, 2026.

Who we are

Cleaning Lords ("we", "us") provides window cleaning, gutter cleaning and snow removal in Saskatoon and surrounding areas. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at contact@cleaninglords.ca or (438) 220-0837.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to quote, book and provide our services.

  • Quote requests: your name, phone number, email, address, preferred date, how you'd like us to contact you, any notes you add, and the services and estimate you chose.
  • Website chat: your name, the phone number or email you give us, your messages and our replies, and the page you started the chat from.
  • Estimates and bookings: the services we quote you, prices, your approval, your preferred date and any message you add, and the dates of jobs we do for you.
  • Invoices and payments: what we charged, any tip, and how and when you paid. Card payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure page; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Reviews: the name, town, star rating and review you submit. If we approve it, your name as you entered it, town, rating and review are shown publicly on our website.
  • Calls, texts and emails: whatever you choose to share with us when you contact us directly.
  • Technical information: to stop spam, we briefly keep a coded version of your device's internet (IP) address. Our web host also keeps standard server logs.

How we use it

  • To answer your questions and send you a quote.
  • To send you estimates, schedule, carry out and confirm your service.
  • To ask for a review after a job, which you're free to ignore.
  • To keep a record of the work we've done for you.
  • To contact you about booking your next service, such as seasonal window or gutter cleaning. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • To protect our website from spam and abuse.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

We only share information with service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Hostinger hosts our website and business email, where your quote requests and chat messages are stored.
  • Stripe processes card payments, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
  • Twilio delivers our text messages, if you've given us a mobile number.
  • Google Fonts provides the fonts on our website. Your browser connects to Google to load them.
  • Google Maps shows the maps on our service areas page. Google may collect information when you view them, under Google's own privacy policy.

We may also share information if required by law.

Your browser

If you start a chat, your browser saves a random chat code so you can see our replies if you come back later. It doesn't identify you on other websites. You can clear it by clearing your browser's site data. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're a customer and for as long as we need it for our business records, tax and legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it.

How we protect it

Your information is stored in a private area of our website that the public can't access. Our owner dashboard is password protected, and our website uses a secure https connection.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Show you the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Stop contacting you about future services.
  • Delete your information, unless we're required to keep it by law.

Email contact@cleaninglords.ca and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top.
